On the surface level, it seems as though the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the world to build barriers. We hide our smiles behind masks & reach out to loved ones across the chasms of social distance. Proximity suddenly induces more fear than comfort. BARRIERS explores the transcendence of boundaries in an imaginative manner that transports viewers to new worlds. Tadder’s prints, with their use of color & contrast between the seen & unseen, inspire viewers to look, through rose-colored glasses, to something better on the unknown “other” side.
